LEARNING Outcome

The program is designed to produce competent graduates that are able to develop, integrate, exercise and demonstrate knowledge and agreement of the diverse disciplines inside human evolution. Family studies, textiles science and interior design. Such skills and competence would foster individual, families and communities demand geared to making decisions that have impact on welfare, sustained human relationship. Students who graduate from this programm should exist able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of:

  1. The scientific and practical principles of family unit and consumer sciences based on a foundation of management of family resources.
  2.  The practical aspects of homo development and family unit studies textiles and pattern, consumer science and human nutrition in the context of customs development and health, textiles and interior, catering and institutional feeding.
  3. The bones and underlying factors that shape the family and consumer development studies, and their various components.
  4.  The relevance of family and consumer sciences to the diverse range of human needs and expectations at the local, national and international levels that stimulates informed independence to explore  various opportunities in the consumer industry e.yard catering, cloth and way, family counselling.

This is where noesis and skills are translated into products and services with sense of consumer's behaviour, tastes and preferences.

Admission REQUIREMENTS

Two main passes (iv points) in the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Home Economics, Agriculture, Nutrition, Advanced Mathematics, Physics or Geography. OR Diploma in Homo Nutrition, Home Economics, Food Science, Nursing, Community Development, Biomedical, Laboratory Technology or Clinical Medicine, with an average of "B" or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an bidder must have a minimum of "D" grade in Biology ii scientific discipline subjects at O-Level.
